Before joining Marktlink, I was partner at a large accounting firm, specialising in financial and transaction advisory services. I was introduced to Marktlink by a friend, and my initial conversations with the group partners at Marktlink never felt like formal interviews. From the very start, our discussions were productive and relaxed, which gave me an immediate good feeling about the company’s culture. Overcoming challenges

Naturally, there were some challenges at first when setting up our local office, but this is to be expected with any new venture. With over 300 colleagues and counting, Marktlink is growing at a rapid pace, I am used to working in such dynamic settings and I strongly believe that our team in Switzerland will also grow significantly over the coming years.

Building a winning team

As a Partner at Marktlink, my focus is not only on acquiring new clients but also on building a strong, motivated team. What’s important with a young team like this, is to put some structure and guidelines in place first. Once the team is established, responsibilities can be delegated and new employees are then easily onboarded by more experienced team members. We want to grow our team quickly but sensibly, giving each team member significant responsibility. This way, people feel challenged and motivated at the same time and want to go the extra mile.
