Your goal
Our marketing and communication strategy plays a crucial role in this. We believe in the power of personal contact: connecting people, strengthening relationships and creating valuable encounters. Events are an essential tool for making our expertise and positioning tangible. As Event Manager at Marktlink, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of all (international) events.
You will be responsible for the entire project management process: from concept development and planning to implementation and evaluation. You will guarantee the quality, consistency and image of all events and ensure that they contribute to commercial objectives of Marktlink
Your portfolio will include our entrepreneur dinners, masterclasses for all (international) offices, the annual Marktlink Connect knowledge event and the Marktlink House during the Formula 1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix, where Marktlink is one of the main sponsors.
Your responsibilities
- Full responsibility for the project management of all international internal and external events;
- Developing, planning and realising a wide variety of event concepts;
- Ensuring scalable and consistent execution of events;
- Budget management and reporting;
- Managing internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, agencies and external partners;
- Ensuring a consistent brand experience across all events;
- Monitoring and analysing results to improve future events.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Event Management or a related field;
- At least 5 years of experience in events, preferably in a business environment;
- Demonstrable experience with (international) events and complex stakeholder management;
- Strong organisational and project management skills;
- Strategic insight combined with a hands-on mentality;
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
- Affinity with entrepreneurship.
