Your goal

As a Working Student AI & Data, you will support the team in analysing historical M&A deals and further developing internal AI and data systems. The primary focus is on data processing and analysis, working with complex deal documentation in a professional M&A environment.
You will combine data analysis, AI and business insight and directly contribute to improving data quality, insights and tooling within Marktlink.

Your responsibilities

As a Working Student within our Data and AI team, your tasks will include:

Extracting and structuring data from Information Memoranda (IMs) and other deal documentation
Collecting, cleaning and enriching historical M&A deal data
Analysing key variables that influence deal multiples
Identifying and analysing patterns and trends across sectors and deal types
Collecting, structuring and prioritising feedback on internally developed AI and data systems
Translating user feedback into concrete functional and technical requirements
Supporting the evaluation and further development of AI models and data systems
Performing data quality checks (completenes, consistency, timeliness)

Your profile

We are looking for a working student who:

Is currently enrolled in a HBO or WO bachelor’s programme
Has an interest in data, AI and analytics
Works accurately and in a structured manner
Interest in finance or M&A is a plus
Is fluent in Dutch (mandatory)
Is available 2 days per week
Is willing to work on-site in Amsterdam

Are there any special requirements for working at Marktlink?

For M&A Professionals a finished masters degree in finance or equivalent education is mandatory. For all the other positions please take a look at the requirements per job.
