Teamlead Reception

Your goal

You are the face and the backbone of the front-of-house experience of Marktlink. Based in our Amsterdam office, you oversee and lead the reception teams across all our offices You will make sure that every guest, every call and every moment at the door reflects the quality and warmth Marktlink stands for. You keep the operation running smoothly, grow the people around you and take ownership of a couple of facility tasks in Amsterdam.

Your responsibilities

• Own daily planning and scheduling of our reception team. This also includes last-minute cover when someone calls in sick;

• Responsible for creating, managing and adjusting the reception team's daily and weekly schedules, ensuring adequate coverage at all times, including arranging last-minute replacements in case of sickness;

• Be the first point of contact when complex questions, complaints or unusual situations arise;

• Set and monitor service standards so every client is helped quickly, professionally and in line with our guidelines;

• Keep the front office sharp and representative throughout the day;

• Onboard new receptionists and continuously coach the team on hospitality, communication and systems;

• Conduct performance and development conversations;

• Oversee supplies, office materials, badges and parking cards, and report operational data to the Global Workplace Manager.

Your profile

• A few years of experience in a hospitality, facility or front-of-house role and ready to take the next step into leadership;

• Natural people manager: you motivate, coach and hold the bar high without losing warmth;

• You take ownership and stay calm when things get busy or unpredictable;

• Strong communicator in Dutch and English;

• Organised and hands-on,, you spot what needs fixing and sort it without waiting to be asked;

• Entrepreneurial mindset: you treat the reception as your own operation and always look for ways to improve it;

• Comfortable working across multiple locations and keeping different teams aligned.
