Are you ready to dive into the dynamic world of mergers and acquisitions? At Marktlink, we offer you the opportunity to gain hands-on experience. Founded in the Netherlands in 1996, Marktlink has been shaping the future of mid-market businesses for three decades. Since 2019, our Belgian office located in Antwerp has been thriving, powered by a close-knit team with a combined expertise of over 45 years.

We are looking for ambitious students to join our team during the year for off-cycle internships for 6 months. As an intern at Marktlink Belgium, you’ll work alongside seasoned M&A experts, contribute to real projects, and develop skills that will set you apart in the competitive business world.

Your responsibilities

As an M&A Intern at Marktlink, you can roughly expect the following tasks:

  • Perform business and market analyses;

  • Preparation of valuations and bid books;

  • Getting to know potential buyers and sellers;

  • Drafting financing applications and resolving financing issues;

  • Broad support of the manager during projects.

Requirements

Your profile

  • You are currently pursuing a university degree in finance or a college degree in combination with a finance-oriented master;

  • You are a social and entrepreneurial person with practical, strategic, tactical and commercial insight;

  • In addition to strong analytical skills, you are punctual and goal-oriented;

  • Demonstrable affinity with the SME sector;

  • An eye for personal relationships and excellent communication skills are essential;

  • A good command of the Dutch and English languages.

Are there any special requirements for working at Marktlink?

For M&A Professionals a finished masters degree in finance or equivalent education is mandatory. For all the other positions please take a look at the requirements per job.
