Your goal
To support our continued growth, we are currently seeking two full-time Associates to join our team in Antwerp. As an Associate at Marktlink Belgium, you will collaborate closely with seasoned M&A professionals, advising entrepreneurs throughout the entire transaction process — from business valuation and market research to deal structuring, negotiations, and closing.
Who are we looking for?
You are a driven, analytical person with a strong interest in corporate finance and entrepreneurship. You ideally have at least one to two years of relevant experience in M&A, corporate finance, private equity, audit or equity research. You're ready to hit the ground running and eager to grow in a high-performance, entrepreneurial environment.

Your responsibilities
- Mapping sectors and identifying potential acquisition or investment opportunities by analysing market players, trends, and buyer/seller landscapes
- Building financial models and business plans, and conducting valuations
- Writing key documents such as information memorandums, management presentations, and pitch materials
- Setting up and managing digital data rooms and following up on due diligence processes
- Interacting with potential buyers and sellers, playing a role in the flow of information, coordination of questions, and ongoing dialogue throughout the deal process.
Your profile
- You hold a university degree in economics, finance or a related field
- You're entrepreneurial, socially engaged and combine strategic thinking with commercial awareness
- Analytical, accurate and driven — you know how to set goals and go after them
- A true team player, but also comfortable working independently
- Eager to learn, highly motivated and always looking to improve
- You’re comfortable with Excel and PowerPoint and know how to use them to tell a clear story
- You communicate with ease, build strong relationships, and speak and write fluently in both Dutch and English
