Your goal

Marktlink Capital is a Private Equity & Venture Capital (PE & VC) Fund Manager based in the Netherlands, with headquarters in CitySide Amsterdam. We offer entrepreneurs and private investors access to the best PE & VC funds. Marktlink Capital currently has a team of over 50 professionals and manages more than EUR 2 billion in capital commitments. This capital comes from nearly 2,000 investors who have collectively invested in over 100 PE & VC funds. 
We’re looking for ambitious master’s students (at any stage of their studies) or bachelor’s students in the final 3–4 months of their degree to join us as Commercial Insights Intern starting from May 1st. This 4-to-6 month, full-time internship is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the investment world. If we’re a mutual fit, the role could even transition into a full-time position. Your responsibilities

As a member of our team, you’ll collaborate across multiple teams. Your responsibilities will include, among other things:
  • Assist in preparing internal reports and dashboards to support decision-making.
  • Contribute to the creation of quarterly reports for top-performing funds.
  • Research and identify potential leads, partners, or market opportunities.
  • Support business development efforts through data-driven projects.
  • Help manage CRM data and assist with outreach activities.
  • Conduct market research to inform positioning, messaging, and strategy.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives by gathering insights and supporting analysis.

Your profile

We’re looking for someone who: 
  • Is nearing the completion of a bachelor’s degree (within 3–4 months) or currently pursuing or recently graduated from a master’s program in management, analytics, entrepreneurship, data science, or a related field.
  • Is available for a full-time internship (4 to 6 months), ideally 4 days a week or more.
  • Has some practical exposure to commercial or business development activities (e.g. sales, partnerships, outreach).
  • Demonstrates a genuine interest in the sector and its broader context.
  • Communicates clearly and effectively, both in writing and in person, especially when explaining complex topics.
  • Has a strong command of English, both spoken and written.
  • Is proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, and familiar with CRM systems.
  • Is experienced with data management and analysis; coding skills (e.g., Python, SQL) are a plus.
  • Is proactive, eager to learn, and motivated to take ownership of tasks.
  • Enjoys working in a dynamic, team-oriented environment and can adapt quickly to new challenges.
  • Is based in or near Amsterdam, or willing to commute to our office.
